There is currently no cure for cerebral palsy.

For most children, development means physiotherapy, special education and countless hours of therapy. For Beni, every tiny movement is a huge achievement.

Since he was born, Beni has been working incredibly hard. And so have we – searching for every possible opportunity that could help him develop, gain more control over his body and become more independent.

Over the past year, we have had the chance to try three intensive treatments that gave us something incredibly important:

hope – and visible changes.

🇲🇽 Cytotron Therapy – Mexico

In 2025, Beni travelled to Mexico to receive Cytotron therapy, an intensive neuromodulation treatment designed to stimulate nervous system function and support neuroplasticity.

After the treatment, we noticed positive changes in Beni’s attention, movement initiation and body control.

His head and trunk control gradually improved, and in certain positions he was able to participate in movements more easily.

For most children, these things are natural.
For Beni, they are milestones.

Every new movement, every few extra seconds of head control, every moment when his body is a little more relaxed means an enormous amount to us.

🧬 MUSE Cell Therapy

Beni also underwent MUSE cell therapy, with the aim of supporting his nervous system and the function of damaged areas.

After the treatment, we saw that Beni became more attentive to the world around him. His head and body control continued to improve, and he increasingly sought connection and interaction with us.

These may sound like small changes.

To us, they are everything.

🧠 Intensive Neuroadaptive Therapy

Beni also took part in an intensive neuroadaptive therapy programme, designed to support the nervous system’s ability to adapt, improve motor coordination and encourage the development of new neural connections.

Following these three intensive treatments, we saw some of the biggest changes in Beni’s everyday life.

He can now remain in his supportive seating system or car seat for much longer periods. He is calmer. And, most importantly, the constant extension and tension in his body has started to decrease.

For Beni, these are huge changes.

They make everyday life easier. They make therapy more effective. And they give us hope that his nervous system can continue to learn and adapt.

💙 We want to keep going

These treatments are extremely expensive.

The cost of the therapies themselves is only part of the challenge. International travel, accommodation and spending several weeks abroad add a significant financial burden to our family.

But we have seen what can happen when Beni is given these opportunities. That is why we want to continue in 2027.

We would like Beni to receive further Cytotron treatments, participate in MUSE cell therapy again, continue intensive neuroadaptive therapy, and keep up with the intensive daily therapies that are already part of his life.

We are not promising that Beni will suddenly walk or talk.

We are asking for something much simpler: Give him a chance.

A chance to have his body more relaxed, without constantly pushing into extension.

A chance to gain more control over his head and hands.

A chance to initiate more movements by himself.

A chance to find his own way to communicate with us.

A chance to become more independent.

And perhaps, one day…

a chance to hug his mum. ❤️

Beni cannot sit, play or talk independently. But he has been given a chance. And we don’t want to stop here. We want to keep fighting for every tiny step forward. And we need your help to make that possible.
